An AcoustiTherm Acoustic Ceiling Tile provides superior sound absorption and excellent thermal insulation. Due to its high R value, there is no need to add insulation to joists or roll out fiberglass batting above the grid, reducing labor and material cost. To gain access above the grid, simply remove the tile without having to move any other materials.

This ceiling tile is constructed using 3” thick acoustic fiberglass and is laminated with a thin white or black vinyl facing, giving it a durable, easily cleaned non-porous surface. These ceiling tiles are moisture and humidity resistant, and ensure that your ceiling tiles will not sag, shrink or warp. Combining two products into one, the AcoustiTherm Ceiling Tiles provide easier accessibility and faster installation for your ceiling system.

With a NRC rating of 1.05 and an R value of 13.6, AcoustiTherm ceiling tiles provide optimal acoustic performance and energy savings for a complete solution on your next construction project.

Customer Reviews

6 reviews for AcoustiTherm Acoustic Ceiling Tile

  1. Damien Dentley

I needed an acoustic, sound absorbing, solution for my finished-basement, home theater. I didn’t want to rebuild. I needed a lot of acoustic absorption, but I had limited wall space I could cover. Treating the floor, or ceiling, were the next best options. Swapping out my standard drop-ceiling tiles was more time, and cost, efficient than any other solution.

The AcoustiTherm tiles offer me three benefits. First, they absorb sound reflections in my home theater. Second, they have enough mass to dampen the sound traveling up thru my home. Third, these tiles help stabilize the temperature in my basement, so movie time is more cozy. I will buy more.

We used these panels in an all glass conference room, where previously the sound reverb was terrible. With these tiles in place, the reverb has went virtually away.
