IAC Acoustics Noishield® Sound Barrier Walls protect communities from environmental noise by surrounding equipment or blocking the direct path of sound. These high performance acoustic barriers offer an effective solution to reduce noise pollution. Our certified acoustic barriers solve a wide variety of environmental noise problems that include transport, utilities, mechanical plant, sporting facilities, industrial sites, manufacturing and distribution. Acoustic barriers walls are ideal for ground level, road, rail, bridges, and rooftop community noise control applications. Noise barrier walls also protect communities from unwanted noise generated from roads, railways and airports.
IAC Acoustics Noishield® Sound Barrier Walls are engineered from the foundation up for structural integrity and economic installation. Low weight module panels stack between posts to achieve the required wall height. Noishield® barriers can be installed with horizontal or vertical reveals to satisfy aesthetic and architectural considerations.
IAC Acoustics Noishield® Sound Barrier Wall systems are durable, aesthetically pleasing and can carry a range of finishes to blend in with local surroundings. Noishield® barriers are finished with a tough, thermosetting, polyester powder coating which is resistant to the harsh cleaning chemicals used to remove spray paint graffiti. Sound barrier panels are constructed with solid top surfaces to minimize water infusion and perforated bottom surfaces to allow any entrapped water to escape. The acoustic fill is non-hygroscopic so that water does not wick into the modules.
