The PrivacyShield® Soundproof Door is ideal for recording studios, offices, band rooms, hotels, dorm rooms, conference rooms, or any application that requires a soundproof interior door. It is the most affordable option among quality acoustic sound blocking doors with a Noise Isolation Class (NIC) value of up to 56 for airborne sound. The door comes standard in oak, ready to stain, with silver or matte black hardware. The PrivacyShield® Soundproof Door ships as a pre-hung assembly and includes the door, frame, trim casings, handle, hinges, perimeter sound seals, and installation kit. We offer a 36-inch by 84-inch 3070 door and other standard interior door sizes to meet your needs. Upgrades are also available for specialty woods and the addition of a vision lite kit, a kick plate, a threshold, a door closer, and a jamb extension kit. A jamb extension kit is required when the wall thickness is greater than 6 inches. It is used to extend the jamb of the door by adding 5.5 inches to the jamb depth.
