What surfaces do these tiles adhere to?
We have tested the adherence of the product to cinder block and drywall, and it adheres quite well. Other substrates may need to be tested first with one tile to ensure that it adheres well before adhering more.
Can I install this product on a ceiling?
If the surface is drywall or another flat surface, certainly. This product should not be used with ceiling drop tiles, popcorn ceilings, or similar.
How do I install this product?
Each Series 200 tile has double sided tape. It can be adhered quite easily to the wall. It is recommended that you utilize tools such as laser levels to ensure that the tiles are adhered to the wall in a straight line. Before adhering them to the wall, you may want to lay out the tiles on the floor or on a table to see how your design will look on the wall.
Can the tiles be easily removed?
No, the adhesive is quite strong and does not come off the drywall easily. The tiles can be removed from drywall but the drywall will probably need to be repaired.
How well will this block sound from my neighbor?
This product absorbs sound from the room in which it is being adhered. It will not block sound coming from through the wall. There are other products that we recommend for blocking sound. Please call one of our knowledgeable sales team members for help at
How absorptive is this product and how can I improve it?
The absorptive capability of the material is measured by its NRC rating. The higher the NRC rating the better the material absorbs sound (meaning reduces echo). This product has an NRC rating of .35 when it is adhered directly to the wall. A higher rating of .9 is achieved when it is mounted with a 2” air gap from the wall. Can I return this product?
