Tanners Creek Elementary School has a large multipurpose room/cafeteria with all hard surfaces. The sound of the staff and children made the space too loud. We needed to reduce the reverberation, improve the speech intelligibility, and reduce the overall noise. The school needed acoustical panels to create a better space for the multipurpose room.
Tanners Creek Elementary School continues to serve pre-kindergarten through fifth-grade students. The school was built in 1989. Tanners Creek continues to promote a safe, responsible, and respectful environment for all students.

At Tanners Creek Elementary School, acoustic fabric wrapped panels improve speech intelligibility in the cafeteria and multipurpose room.
Prior to purchasing the Alphasorb Fabric Wrapped Panels, the space was very loud and reverberant, making communication difficult and frustrating for the staff and children. It was impossible to hold a conversation. The echo was terrible, especially at lunchtime. When the children were in cafeteria eating lunch, their voices bounced around, making it difficult to hear. They knew something had to be done to make the space comfortable for all.

To improve speech intelligibility and reduce echo in their cafeteria, Tanners Creek Elementary School installed fabric wrapped panels on the walls and ceiling.
To address the sound issue in the multipurpose room, our installation team installed our Alphasorb Acoustic Fabric Wrapped Panels. The panels worked well at reducing sound reflections, improving speech intelligibility, and reducing echo in the space. The panels were installed on the walls and ceiling, creating a comfortable environment for the staff and children.
The multipurpose room has great acoustics thanks to our Alphasorb Fabric Wrapped Acoustic Panels. The panels improved the reverberation and helped to reduce the overall noise level in the space. They also improved speech clarity, allowing the staff and children to communicate more effectively. The panels gave the space a great look and met their acoustic goals for this project.
