The Issue

Baltusrol Golf Club, steeped in history and renowned for its contribution to the national golf scene for over 125 years, embarked on a comprehensive clubhouse remodel. As part of this transformation, the management team sought an acoustical solution that would seamlessly blend aesthetics with functionality. The challenge? To cover existing wallpapered walls and create a custom acoustical stretchwall system that met strict architectural requirements.

About the Client

Founded in 1895, Baltusrol Golf Club has hosted prestigious golf tournaments and boasts a rich legacy. Located in Springfield, New Jersey, the club’s conference rooms play a pivotal role in hosting events, meetings, and gatherings.

The Challenge

The clubhouse room’s existing walls were designed for aesthetics, lacking substantial sound absorption properties.
