The Issue
Dominic Wintz from Bright Christian contacted Acoustical Solutions to help with a echo issue they were having in the Worship Center. The Worship Center is a large open space with some reflective surfaces which were causing acoustic issues during events.
About the Client
Bright Christian Church is a non-denominational church where real life and faith intersect. It was established in 1894 in Southeast Indiana.

The Challenge
The Worship Center is a large space with high ceiling and a concrete floor dealing with large echoes and reverberations. They play contemporary Christian worship music at a loud volume, so it's easy for the volume to get a little out of control with all of the reverberation in the room.

The Solution
Dominic Wintz consulted with Acoustical Solutions Noise Control Expert, Mark Brock, and it was decided that the best plan of action would be to add Alphasorb® Fabric Wrapped Acoustical Panels to the walls and ceilings. We went with a dual approach of ceiling-and-wall mounted panels so that they would allow for maximum coverage and effectiveness.
The Result
With the installation of panels, the echo/noise level has been greatly reduced to a much more pleasant level. Services and events have become more productive and efficient since the acoustics within are treated, making voices more intelligible and music more clear.
