Hugo Neu Realty Management has learned that installing sound control materials help improve the value of the properties they handle. An echo-free environment creates functional spaces, free from stressful noise.

One of their properties is a recently renovated 160,000 square-foot building. Suites in this building will become-open office spaces, conference rooms, and reception areas. Property management advised us of the terrible echo in every room. The reflective nature of the glass, cinder block, sheet rock, and concrete bounces sound all throughout the space. Our client needed simple, economical solutions that could be applied to walls or ceilings while maintaining a modern look.

Bands of acoustical foam around the room absorb sound and glue directly to the wall or the concrete ceiling. Laying out a design, using the versatile 2’x2′ or 2’x4′ sizes, made planning and installing the material a cinch. The charcoal foam creates exciting visual accents on the walls and AlphaSorb® Linear Acoustic Foam in white blends well into the ceiling. AlphaEnviro® PVC Sound Baffles fit in easily above lights and sprinklers in a portion of one large, shared area of a room. The acoustic foam is easy to handle and installs easily using a general construction adhesive. Likewise, the AlphaEnviro® PVC Sound Baffles are lightweight and hang with simple suspension hardware. The installation process is so simple, the facilities management could accomplish it by using basic tools.
