The PrivacyShield® Industrial Dual-Sided Absorptive Soundproofing Blanket (formerly the ABSC-26 AudioSeal® Combination Sound Blanket) is a barrier septum composite for environments with high temperatures up to 500º F making them well suited for machinery housings and other industrial applications. These silicone-coated soundproof curtains blankets are constructed with a 1 lb. per sq. ft. non-reinforced mass loaded vinyl sound barrier septum that is sandwiched between two layers of 1 in. thick acoustical fiberglass batting that are quilted with a UV-resistant vinyl coated fiberglass cloth facing. This allows PrivacyShield® High Temperature Dual-Sided Absorptive Soundproofing Blanket to supply 360-degree sound absorption and sound attenuation in one efficient product.
These grommeted industrial blankets work like curtain panels. They are constructed with grommets across the top edge and Velcro® along the vertical edges which make them easy to hang, layer, and install. PrivacyShield® Industrial Absorptive Soundproofing Blankets are commonly used in industrial operations to contain and lower noise from mechanical equipment in high-temperature environments and are impervious to oils, moisture, dust, and most chemicals.
Standard 4' x 8' blanket panels may be ordered online. Other sizes up to 4 ft. x 25 ft. are available, please contact us with your specific requirements.
