Aircone is a diffusing, hanging partition ideal for screening off areas in an open space. Combine Aircone with sound-absorbing products to ensure excellent acoustics. Aircone comprises triangular modules made from molded fiber felt. The modules can be connected with clips to create different types of pattern formation. Attached to ceiling or wall using a white or silver anodized aluminium rail.
Aircone is a decorative acoustic tile with a simple triangular design that is angled and tapered to permit sound mitigation. The tiles are made from molded polyester felt fiber and are available in many colorways. Half tiles are also available to create straight edges in a design. Aircone modules are assembled into patterns using small plastic clips and can be hung from the ceiling or against a wall on an aluminum rail. Aircone acoustic screen formations are more solid than the other three modules in the Air Series, enabling the creation of clearer room divisions. Yet, it is also possible to leave openings allowing light to pass through or to create interesting patterns.
Aircone is the sequel to Stefan Borselius’s highly successful Airflake. Its design language is comparatively strict and more graphic. Combining the conforming modules with each other elicits a dynamic interplay of lines and shadows. Aircone screen formations are more solid than those of its predecessor, enabling the creation of clearer room divisions. Yet, it is also possible to leave openings to allow light to pass through or to create interesting patterns.
