Job Overview
The Customer Service/Administrative Representative will be responsible for handling customer inquiries of all types and also for administrative functions essential to business operations. Under direction of the Manager (Webstore manager), the role will serve as a primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries, developing quotes, providing technical assistance, and generally taking care of any / all customer needs. The role will also compile and analyze data, and process information and documents related to a wide variety of administrative functions including freight, sales tax, accounting, quality, and other aspects of operations.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Handles all aspects of customer service and sales inquiries. Provides technical assistance, pricing, quoting, and service after the sale. Answers phone calls, email and works with other customer service agents to support customers promptly and accurately.
- Reviews freight bills vs expected amounts, manages corrections with the carriers and approves freight bills for payment and communicates same to Manager.
- Collects data for freight claims and provides information to the Manager for approval.
- Assist with customer calls or carrier emails regarding issues with shipment delivery and communicate with the carrier or customer on resolution.
- Review all tax exemption documentation uploaded by the customer and request correct documentation if needed. Also review tax exemption sync with Tax collection software and correct any issues prior to taxes being filed.
- Report customer complaints to team for review to improve website design, service offerings, and customer satisfaction.
- Assists with responses and resolution of customer issues and complaints as well as tracking the responses to resolution.
- Ensures On Time Deliveries through coordination with production schedules and OTD reports. Addresses issues and participates in problem solving when late orders occur.
- Answers / manages Phone Calls, voice mails, emails, and other communications to achieve call wait and callback goals. Fields customer inquiries and responds to / manages same.
- Identify and assess customer needs to achieve satisfaction.
- Build sustainable relationships with customer accounts through open and interactive communication.
- Troubleshoot and investigate customer inquiries or complaints.
- Ensure excellent service standards and maintain high customer satisfaction.
- Participates in the daily management process every day. As for all team members, this role also tracks / plots data as assigned and assists with problem solving initiatives as assigned.
- Supports and fully participates in the company’s continuous improvement processes. “Follows and Lives” the company’s stated values.
- Flexibility to work extended hours and overtime as required to support inquiries Nationwide.

Job Overview
Assists in the completion of installation of the job from start to finish to include pre-job preparation, loading/unloading of materials, transportation, setup, installation and clean up. Must always present yourself as a professional representative of the company.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Arrives to work on time and follows weekly work schedule
- Completes installation of acoustical panels, baffles, blankets, stretch walls, etc.
- Assists with kitting of materials prior to installation including moving materials from main warehouse to installation warehouse
- Follows work instructions to ensure consistent installation of products
- Ensures job sites are always left clean “Make it as if we were never there”
- Operates company vehicles safely
- Reports any safety or quality issues that arise out of the installation process to Supervisor immediately.
- Uses appropriate hand tools, power tools, forklifts and aerial lifts safely to get required work done.
- Maintains appropriate certifications as pertains to job. (OSHA, Fork Truck Cert, Aerial Lift, First Aid, etc.)
- Follows 5S processes and Acoustical Solutions Core Values, Kaizen and process improvement activities

- Has reliable transportation to and from work and a valid driver’s license

Physical Requirements
- Excessive periods of sitting, standing walking and working overhead.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively and individually, up to 100 lbs. with a team lift.
- Will be exposed to non-climate-controlled conditions such as excessive heat, cold, dampness, construction noise, dust and the presence of odorous chemicals.
- Must be able to work at heights of up to 40 ft.
- Travel outside of 100 miles of office and overnight stays out of town may be required.

Job Overview
The Operations Manager is responsible for all on-site activities, including manufacturing, engineering, warehousing, order fulfillment, shipping, and production materials management. The role also oversees the daily duties of support positions covering customer service, project management, and administration. The Operations Manager ensures quality, on-time delivery, and cost control in all areas of responsibility. This position leads the tracking and improvement of operational KPIs, the execution of strategic deployment plans, and the continuous improvement of the Daily Management Process. Supports the development and implementation of strategies, policies and procedures, and enforces same in assigned areas. Embraces Continuous Improvement Philosophies and Processes; and continually develops CI skills of self and all subordinates.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for achieving budget, goals and objectives, KPI’s, and overall financial results.
- Leads Daily Management every day, driving problems to root cause and countermeasures, delegating CI to team, and building a culture of rapidly exposing and eliminating waste across the business.
- “Owns” company level KPI’s as assigned, develops action plans to improve in order to achieve targets, tracks data, and reports monthly at review. Develops countermeasures as required by KPI process.
- Holds formal kaizen events to continually drive improvement.
- Supports the Strategy Deployment process as required, including serving as “action plan owner” plus “task owner” as assigned by plans. Participates in the monthly SD review process.
- Ensures that customer service, design, engineering, and administrative personnel are aligned and focused on company objectives and value adding activities.

A thorough understanding of legal contracting is essential.

The Production Team Member is responsible for safe production of quality products ensuring that customer orders are being filled efficiently, effectively, on time, and without errors.
