Product Description
Our Barrel Sound Diffuser is designed to reflect sound in areas that require a high degree of sound diffusion, such as music rooms, band rooms, concert halls and recording studios.
These Barrel Sound Diffusers are constructed of a rigid E-glass. The diffusers are molded into a one-piece shape, are lightweight and easy to install to a wall. 2’x2′ and 2’x4′ variations can fit into standard T-bar suspended grid systems. The Standard finish for these diffusers is white gelcoat or fabric wrapped. Standard sizes range from 2′ x 2′ to 4′ x 8′.

Clean gelcoat finished diffusers with wax remover, acetone or something similar. Next, use 3m red colored Scotch Bright scuff pad. Scuff surface with scuffpad until all shine is gone using a circular motion. When scuffing is complete, clean the surface with a damp cloth and let dry. It is now ready for paint. Paint with an air tight gravity feed paint gun, and a water-based paint.
