Industrial grade quilted acoustical blankets may be cleaned by using a vacuum cleaner or broom to remove the debris from the blanket surfaces. In addition, any product surface that is not a scrim facing may be cleaned with an air hose or any non-solvent based cleaning product.
A typical “all-purpose cleaner” that contains ingredients such as “water, detergents, and grease cutter” is recommended. Similar suitable brand names are Formula 409, Top Job, Spic & Span, and Mr. Clean.
Product Description
The PrivacyShield® ABBC-13X is an economical exterior sound curtain designed for effective noise control in outdoor environments. This outdoor sound blanket combines sound absorption and noise blocking capabilities, making it an ideal temporary construction noise barrier.
The PrivacyShield® ABBC-13X exterior sound curtain is a strong and weather-resistant barrier. It has a durable composite backing and a tough vinyl-coated polyester front. This facing is quilted onto a 2-inch thick quilted layer of acoustical fiberglass batting.
It features a reinforced mass loaded vinyl sound barrier, weighing 1 pound per square foot, bonded to one side. For best results, position the sound absorbing quilted fiberglass side towards the noise source you want to absorb. This sound blanket’s construction ensures excellent durability and noise reduction performance.
Each outdoor sound curtain has grommets at the top and bottom and exterior-grade Velcro along the edges. This makes installation easy and ensures a secure fit. We stock our blankets in a standard size of 54″ x 96″, with custom sizes available to meet specific needs.
The PrivacyShield® ABBC-13X is built to handle tough weather. When installed correctly, it lasts at least 5 years.
