The AlphaSorb® High Impact Wall Panel provides a durable high impact resistant and tack-able surface. These panels are used in areas needing durable, abuse resistant sound absorption or a tack-able surface. AlphaSorb® High Impact Wall Panels are constructed using a 6-7# rigid fiberglass acoustical core laminated to 16#-20# PCF high-impact underlayment. This core is then fabric wrapped for a pleasing appearance.

For use in gymnasiums, multipurpose rooms, schools, offices or any high traffic areas requiring a durable or tackable surface.

  • Density: 6-7 pound per square foot acoustical substrate
  • 1/8” Thick 16-20 PCF High Impact / Tackable underlayment
  • Fabric Finish: Guilford of Maine FR701 Style 2100 (other fabrics available as specified)
  • Edge Detail: Options for Square, Bevel, Radius, Miter Edge details (Natural or Chemically Hardened)
  • Mounting options: Impaling clips (Default), Mechanical Z-clips, Rotofast Direct Mount Anchors
  • NRC: 1″ (0.95) 2″ (1.05)

How do I get an estimate for my project?

Contact Us and either call or email us with your request.

If you need a quotation, please provide the following information:
1) A list of Quantities & Sizes required
2) Fabric color selection, if known
3) Edge design if other than square. Please also specify if you want them natural or resin hardened (provides edge protection).
4) Mounting Hardware. Impaling clips are included in the price. If using Z-clips, please specify the width and height of the panel. This is important for hardware orientation.
5) Shipping address (Let us know if this is a commercial or residential address)

How do I request a sample of this material?

Samples of the fabric wrapped acoustical panels are available upon request and are free of charge. Contact Us and either call or email us with your request.

How is my order shipped?

Typically each order is packed on a skid and shipped via LTL (less than truck load) freight truck. If your facility is unable to accept freight shipments, you may wish to consider ordering panels sizes that are 2'x4' or smaller. Depending on the order size, these can often ship by a parcel service like UPS or FedEx. When requesting a quotation for panels, please let us know if the shipping location is commercial or residential and if you will need any special freight services like lift gate or a delivery appointment.

Are these panels available from stock?

Fabric wrapped acoustical panels are made to order with your choice of fabric, edge design, size and mounting hardware. Typically lead times can range between 2-4 weeks depending on current manufacturing loads.

How do I determine the quantity of material needed for my project?

Please Contact Us and provide us with your project details.

We will need to know the type of application, room dimensions ( Length x Width x Height) and some photos of the room.

Are fabric wrapped panels available in custom sizes?

Yes. We can manufacture custom sizes up to 4'x10'. Please contact a sales representative with your specific requirements.
